I cannot wrap my brain around the fact that it is almost 2017! Where did the last year go? Did I fall into a coma and just wake up? The last year is a blur in every way. Blame it on new baby sleep deprivation, renovation overload or just plain being crazy busy, but time has never flown so fast.

With the new year around the corner, it’s time to set some goals and get planning for the new year! I’m one of those people who do enjoy setting new years resolutions, but believe that goals should be set year-round. I don’t think you necessarily need a fresh start of the new year to get life more on track and to better yourself. With that said, I do like to reflect on the past year and set a few goals (and the steps to reach them for the new year) at the beginning of each year.

The first step to setting new goals…writing them down, making a plan and getting organized!

I’m so excited to have the new START Daily Hustle Planner at my side to get me ready to rock the new year. I have goals galore and definitely need all the help I can get to keep myself organized and on track to reach them. I’ve always been a planner type of girl, but fell out of the habit of using one the last few years. Being a mama of two, working on house projects, blogging and working on my fitness, keeps me busy and time management is something that I’m always working on. Having an extensive, thorough and kick butt planner is a must have! The START planner has so many great options to keep me on track that I feel like I’ll start this year so much more organized than years past.

The START Daily Hustle Planner isn’t your standard monthly planner; this is a get-your-whole-life-together planner. It covers everything! I absolutely love that it has tabs for goal setting, plans, seeing the year as a whole, and then of course monthly tabs.

The goal tab breaks it down into goals (financial, relationships, fitness, financial, professional, travel, educational and more), steps to get there, vision board and even includes savings for each month. I absolutely love this because it allows me to think about how I’d like to improve each area of my life and gives me a space to write down the steps I want to take to reach these goals.

The planning tab allows you a space to be proactive about all the awesome plans in your life, including projects, cleaning schedules (holy cow, I need this), charity, vacations, holidays and even a secret page for storing passwords. The cleaning area is so detailed (broken down into weekly, biweekly, yearly and seasonal) and perfect for remembering to do those little tasks that always get forgotten (like changing dryer vents, changing batteries in smoke detectors, etc.).

At the beginning of each month, there is a specific area for setting monthly goals, health checks (like weight and goals), groceries, budget, and cards & gifts needed for the month (great for procrastinators like me who buy gifts the day of events usually). Each weekday has it’s own separate page so there is plenty of room to schedule, write reminders and write down thoughts and ideas. The page is jam packed with areas for keeping tabs on amount of water drank, physical activity, medicines taken, and even food eaten.

I’m seriously in LOVE with all the options! I feel like I will be so much more proactive with this planner and it also allows me to easily keep track and keep myself accountable. I have BIG plans for this year and know that life will be crazy busy, but I don’t want to stress about it. Having a space to write everything down, gets it out of my head and allows me to work on crossing items off my list and making progress. I’m determined to make the most of my time this year so I can spend more quality time with my family without have stress and tasks weighing on my mind.
