This week is Thanksgiving and all I can think is: “where did the month go?!” Before I get too wrapped up in the hoopla of everything turkey and mistletoe, I wanted to share a few of this months favorite things! This monthly mix is full of a little bit of everything, but I promise you don’t want to miss out. Keep a lookout for some exclusive savings too!

Beauty:

Indie Lee

I’ve been working towards a more clean & green lifestyle and beauty has been one area that has been a challenge because there are so many icky ingredients in so many everyday products. 😩 I recently was sent several new clean, cruelty free products from Indie Lee and have been LOVING them! The Rosehip cleanser is so gentle on my sensitive skin (I use with my spinning cleansing brush) and removes most of my stubborn eye makeup too. The Blemish Stick has been a regular too since my skin has been cray cray lately (hello hormones!). A dab under or over makeup and redness and size lessens! 🙋🏼👄 Definitely check out the line online or on your next visit to Nordstrom (Twelve Oaks has it Michiganders).

Eats:

Back to Nature Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Pour yourself a big glass of cold milk and get dunking! The kids and I couldn’t get enough of these yummy cookies from Back to Nature. Non-GMO and organic certified, these yummy cookies are made with wheat flour and semisweet chocolate chunks. Unlike many other packaged cookies, they contain no high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils.  I love the generous sized chocolate chunks so much as they totally satisfy my sweet craving! Crunchy cookies + ice cold milk = perfect little afternoon treat pick-me-up! Make sure to add a few boxes to your next Amazon order.

The One Protein Bars

I’ve tried a lot of protein bars and most leave a lot to be desired, but One protein bars are so tasty! Low sugar, over 20 grams of protein and so yummy! The birthday cake is definitely my favorite, but cinnamon roll is a close second! They are perfect post vinyasa to give me some energy and help with recovery. Pick some up at GNC or Amazon and try them for yourself!

Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter

I shared a recipe for this super yummy and easy to make post earlier this month and we’ve been using this sweet and savory almond butter on just about everything. You can check out the post here!

Wears:

Fall Fashion with Shipp’s Scarves

Cool temperatures and snowfall mean one thing: cozy outerwear. I’ve been living in my cowl from Shipp’s Scarves. Super soft, cute and definitely keeps out the chill! Aside from cowls, she sells handmade boot cuffs, beanies and more. I LOVE the messy bun beanie for super comfy wear when you have your hair pulled up!

Necklace

I’m kind of obsessed with my new 108 mala bead necklace from Mala Prayer. There are so many pretty styles to choose from (I chose the Prasada) and they are all sustainably made by artisans. Aside from wearing during meditation (which I keep telling myself that I’m going to actually do regularly), they are beautiful to wear along with your everyday outfits as well. Stock the Crock

Fall means lots of comfort food and my favorite way to make them is using my slow cooker (actually, I use my favorite kitchen gadget, the Instant Pot on the slow cooker function). I recently received Stock the Crock by Phyllis Good and have been trying out so many yummy recipes from it.  With over 100 essential and innovative crock pot recipes there is something for everyone and for every meal. What I love the most about this cookbook is that it has tips and ideas to accommodate many different diets (Paleo, gluten-free, or vegan). This would be a great gift idea for a foodie!

Kids Books

We are always looking for fun books to read with the kids and I love these new lift the flap books, Counting Things and Opposite Things by Anna Kovecses. Both kids really enjoy these books and they keep them engaged the whole time. My daughter (almost 2 years old), especially loves opening the flaps!

Write:

Calendar

The year is almost over which means it’s time to start thinking about purchasing a calendar for 2018! One of my favorites is Strong is the New Pretty! I can’t think of another calendar that would be quite as perfect for young and impressionable girls as much as this one. Loaded with inspiration, powerful photos and a celebration of girls being themselves, it’s a must for elementary and pre-teens! For my son, I love The Kids Awesome Activity Calendar. This calendar has writing and drawing prompt for year-round fun and creativity, games, jokes, stickers (over 300!) and even includes a write and erase magnetic rewards chart. And finally for myself, I’m definitely digging the Kitchen Companion Page-A-Week calendar. This magnetic calendar is perfect for the fridge, with space to write out your weekly meal plan while also including kitchen tips and a spot for making your grocery list.
