Gift Guide for Baby’s First Christmas!

Is there anything more magical and exciting than baby’s first Christmas? I’ve always loved the holidays, but Christmas with kids is just so much more special and fun (albeit, absolutely exhausting sometimes — haha!). Both of our kiddos have been about 1 year old for their first Christmas so they were fully involved and immersed in the celebrations.

Below is my Baby’s First Christmas Holiday Gift Guide! It’s aimed toward older babies (1 year old) since Brielle is nearly a year old and includes toys, books, a little fashion and a lot of learning.

With each hug, scent is released (it’s not an overpowering scent either…just the perfect amount). This soft doll is a great option for a first doll for a little baby. Well made and super cute, you can’t go wrong when it comes to the Baby Stella collection. The sweet attention to details (cute little toes and fingers, soft tummy and bellybutton are perfect for inspiring creative role play in our littlest ones. Silibib

I can’t rave about this bib enough! The Silibib silicone bib is so perfect for easy cleaning; simply wipe or rinse clean and it’s ready to use again (is dishwasher safe as well or can be boiled to sterilize). No more dirty, nasty cloth bibs with caked on food and stains. There is a hidden scoop at the bottom that is perfect for catching all those crumbs too.

BabyLit Books

When I first came across these books, I fell in love. I’m a booknerd and hope to pass that trait along to my children. BabyLit has done a wonderful job transforming the classics to a baby and toddler friendly book series. Bright and fun illustrations accompany these books along with quotes and excerpts from the original books and novels. I couldn’t believe how many choices there were and so many of my favorites. I can’t wait to read these books with my children and they’ll surely get years and years of use into the preschool years and beyond.
