Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter

I’m a major almond butter fan and I couldn’t let the fall season go by without adding a seasonal twist on everyones favorite nut butter. This simple and delicious recipe for pumpkin spice almond butter is going to be your newest obsession!

The best part is that it is so easy to make with the help of my newest favorite kitchen gadget, the NutraMilk!

The NutraMilk is the newest, easiest and a one-of-a-kind appliance that allows you to make alternative milks and nut butters from the convenience of your own kitchen. In minutes, you can create and craft your own unique butters and milks without all the extra work (such as soaking and straining which is time consuming and messy) that often is required when using other appliances. To be honest, I had never attempted making my own nut butters or milks prior to the NutraMilk. Every time I looked into making my own, the long and tedious process always dissuaded me from going through with it. However, since using the NutraMilk, I love how super quick and foolproof the process is!

Simply add your nuts (or seeds), set the time and hit start! I expected that it was going to be extremely loud, but was surprised that it was much quieter than I anticipated. When I am making nut butter variations using the NutraMilk, I set the time for a bit less so I can add my ingredients the last few minutes to ensure that they get mixed in extremely well too. Be sure to take note of how much time is left if you decide to stop the machine in the process as it clears the remaining time (although there is a lot of forgiveness when it comes to making nut butter).

To make nut milks, you simply add water after the nuts have been blended, press mix for desired time and dispense! When making nut milks, the NutraMilk 100 grade mesh filters filter out all the pulp and particles, leaving you with a silky smooth nut milk. I love that I can add all different spices and flavors to take a normal nut milk to a whole new level of deliciousness!

Todays recipe for Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter took less than 10 minutes to make and with everyday ingredients that you have in your pantry. This nut butter is perfect for slathering on apples, adding to your morning oatmeal, on pancakes or waffles, on toast or just by the spoonful. You’ll be surprised at how quickly it will disappear. The deliciousness of roasted almonds melds with pumpkin pie flavoring and the brown sugar ties it all together. ADDICTING!

Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Course Dessert, Snack
Servings 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds roasted
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • dash of salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place almonds into the Nutramilk and use the butter process for 6 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and use butter process for 2 minutes.

Aside from using the NutraMilk to make nut milks and butters, it can also be used to make dips, spreads, smoothies and other creations. I’ve made a few smoothies in the NutraMilk and love how well it blends everything quickly and the consistency has been really smooth (which can be tough sometimes since I like to blend in root veggies that are tough to puree). I have a chocolatey, peppermint, nutty dip in the works and I can’t wait to share it with you in the next month or so. It’s PERFECT for Christmas!

Pre-order now through 12/8 and use NUTRAMILK50 for $50 off MSRP and receive a free bonus storage container! Units will ship at the end of November (while supplies last).

What’s your favorite nut butter or nut milk?
