I’m so thankful that Aiden and Brielle were able to try out some fancy new kicks from Pediped shoes! Their fall and winter collection has so many cute and dapper styles to choose from. Aiden has been growing like a weed so we were in need of new shoes for him and with walking on the horizon for Brielle, some foot friendly shoes have been on my radar. Pediped footwear is a smart choice for parents concerned with the long-term development of their children’s feet as they help promote healthy foot development for all stages of walking.
Pediped Originals are the perfect first shoe for baby and are what we chose for Brielle. They are perfect for babies that are learning to walk because they have a super soft and flexible sole which mimics being barefoot. They are super lightweight and comfortable, which is fabulous because it allows for easier mobility and added comfort for our littlest ones.
I’ve had so many issues with trying to get Brielle to wear shoes! Since she’s not used to wearing them she would always fight or kick them off. I love that her Originals (we chose Louisa Blue Floral) are so easy to put on and the strap is in the perfect position to keep them from falling off (we’ve lost so many shoes in the past from them falling off so this is a HUGE perk). The flexibility allows her to easily be able to cruise in them and I don’t feel like they are going to hinder her ability to learn to walk (which I wish she would slow because she’s only 8 months and trying to walk already….wah!!!!). Plus, they are ridiculously cute! We get compliments on them every time that she wears them.
Pediped Grip ‘n’ Go’s are the best shoe for toddlers that are transitioning from early walking to being a confident walker. The Grip n Go’s has rounded edges, heel stability and a soft toe box which allows a child toes to grip the floor.
Pediped Flex are amazing! The Flex are especially great for confident walkers and the shoe style that we chose for Aiden.
Aiden absolutely loves his Flex shoes (we chose Gehrig style) and wants to wear them all the time, including in the house which has led to a tantrum (or two). We had such a great time picking them out together online (they have a great printable to figure out what size you need) and he could not wait for me to get them out of the box to wear. He has a definite shoe addiction at only 2 years old! I find that he seems to trip himself less in these shoes compared to others that we own because they are so lightweight and flexible. Also, say hello to machine washable shoes! Aiden LOVES stomping in mud and puddles so this is a must for us.
My absolute favorite thing about the Flex shoes is the Flex Fit System! The Flex Fit System is allows you to adjust the fit of your shoe as your child grows with the additional or removal of additional insoles as your child grows. The removal of these insoles can extend the wear of your child’s shoes by a 1/2 size. This is perfect since kids literally grow overnight!
Besides offering the best shoes for your kiddos when it comes to comfort and foot health, they have so many adorable styles to choose from no matter if you’re searching for school styles, holiday styles, and everything in between. I’m definitely eyeing a few pair of boots (some even have faux fur lining) for the kiddos for the cool and wintry months ahead.
