The temperatures are dropping and leaves are beginning to change which means one thing: fall is in the air. Fall is hands down one of my favorite seasons. Bring on all things pumpkin, gorgeous foliage and my favorite of all: fall fashion!

I love checking out all hype online once fall fashion starts rolling out to scope out the newest trends for the year. It always gives me the best inspiration and makes me excited to pick up some new seasonal favorites. This year’s favorites include rich hued colors, sleeve details, jackets galore and more! I’m sharing a few of my favorite recent purchases and all of today’s looks are pieces I found at Meijer! Yes, Meijer!

My ties to Meijer go way back. Here in the Midwest, Meijer is a staple to most communities with it’s midwestern friendliness and pride in customer service. It’s one of those stores that just feels like family in a way after spending so many years shopping there, no matter where I was living or stage of my life. On my last Meijer shopping trip to pick up all my essentials, I went on a little clothing shopping spree to update my closet with some fun and affordable fall fashion. I love being able to pick up my groceries, household needs and some fun clothes all in the same place. Life’s chaotic right now so being able to get everything in one convenient stop is amazing!

Fall Trends That I’m Loving

Blazers

Blazers are a perfect way to transition summer looks to fall! You can still rock your warm-weather favorites like tank tops or a bralette by slipping on a stylish blazer. I love this mens-look inspired long blazer over a tank, paired with skinny jeans (or leggings) and cute booties.

It’s a great transitional piece that’s equal parts casual and dressy that can be dressed up or down – perfect for a date night or business casual for those important Zoom meetings.

Statement Sleeves

Bring on all the different sleeves to continue through fall! The super dramatic sleeves trend has started to slow down and I’m loving these scaled down versions that are fabulous for everyday wear!

Puff Sleeve

This high neck, fitted puff sleeve shirt is super cute! I love the peplum style at the waist that is super flattering. This rust color just screams fall (it’s available in several other colors too: gray, green, marigold and black). I bought several colors as they are super comfortable and perfect for wearing under a light jacket too. The high neck is ultra-cozy for cool mornings and evenings.

I picked up this super cute bag at Meijer too! They had such a huge selection of purses and bags to choose from.

Balloon Sleeves

Animal prints aren’t going anywhere anytime soon and I’m here for it! I love this green hued shirt with balloon sleeves! It flows gorgeously over your figure and the balloon sleeves are feminine and romantic. The fit is a bit longer which makes them perfect to pair with leggings (I’m a big fan of the faux leather leggings).

Petal Sleeve

First, I love this sunny and energetic marigold color! Second, these petal sleeves add just the right touch to give this shirt a little something extra. Great for pairing with jeans for everyday wear and this look is comfy & cute for running errands. Pair with fun printed booties!

Zipped Moto Biker Jackets

Jackets can completely transform a look! I love that the moto biker jacket trend is sticking around to end 2020! The faux leather lends an edginess to a look and they are so versatile. Whether being worn over a cami with leggings, over your favorite bralette and jean combo or over a cute dress, moto jackets are a fabulous addition to allow us to wear a few of our favorite summer items into late fall!

This cognac faux leather jacket is so cute and I love all the zipper details. I paired this lightweight jacket over this flowy tiered dress (also from Meijer!) with my fave suede booties! It’s a great layering staple to have in your closet!

Tiered Dresses

Flowy Tiered Dresses are another trend that I’ve been loving. The simple style is romantic and gorgeous on so many body shapes. This one has the prettiest sheer bishop sleeves too!
