Green Bean Fries
- 1 pound green beans freshly cleaned and stems trimmed (you want the green beans slightly damp for dredging)
- 3 Tbsp Mazola Corn Oil
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup Italian panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Horseradish Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt
- 2 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 - 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Green Bean Fries
Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly coat a baking pan with 1 Tbsp of Mazola Corn Oil.
In large bowl, combine panko bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and 2 Tbsp of Corn Oil. Mix well until oil is mixed in well.
Dredge green beans in flour (I like to toss flour and green beans in zipper plastic storage bag).
In small batches, dip flour dredge beans in egg whites and then dredge with panko/breadcrumb mix.
Place on baking pan in single layers and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately!
Horseradish Dipping Sauce
Mix together Greek yogurt, horseradish, dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder and salt & pepper. Serve with fries!
