Can you believe that Easter is this upcoming weekend? I sure can’t! If you’re anything like me, you are just starting to think about what to get for your kiddos Easter baskets. We always seem to have a huge stash of candy post holidays so this year I’m working on candy-less Easter baskets. With two young kids, I like switching out our toys often and introducing new and fun activities that everyone can enjoy. Educational toys are some of my favorites as I find that we tend to use them more often and we are able to gain some new skills at the same time.
This year we focused on items that encouraged learning and motor skills that could be used by our toddler and preschooler. Many of these gifts encourage and educate on colors, learning, grasp, music and being physically active. I always like to load their baskets with a mix of items they want, things they need and a few yummies that taste great, but are healthy too.
This years baskets were loaded with so many fun products! Most of these products are available on Amazon Prime so you can order them just in time for Easter.

We will be going to an easter egg hunt at the local park with our 3 kids and then going to visit family for dinner
Sounds like a great day!
This year for Easter I decided to switch it up. Instead of hosting dinner I’ll be hosting brunch and family will come over to visit and spend time with my daughters.
We’ll be hosting brunch as well! I like that it leaves the evening for us to celebrate with just the 4 of us!
Easter will be low key around our house, but hoping to work on the nursery for new baby!
Thanks for sharing the product links! I definitely want to get my daughter some eggs and those mold free bath toys are amazing! We plan to hide eggs around the house for my daughter and we are starting an easter basket with toys and books instead of sweet treats! Hoppy Easter!

I’m going to have to check out that play foam Haley would like that.
Adorable ideas, Amber!! We’re celebrating Corbin’s first Easter with my husband’s side of the family! It will be the first time two of his aunts will be meeting Corbin! We’re looking forward to quality family time!

We are just doing an egg hunt and having a family dinner
I love the idea of candy free baskets and I do them too. My kids get one or two pieces of chocolate but overall, we do no candy. Because you know what happens to it? I throw it away because I don’t want the kids eating it and I don’t need to eat it- know what I mean
Oh and for Easter, we’re spending it with my parents and invited some friends who didn’t have big families to spend it with. I’m looking forward to it being a nice, quiet day (vs the hoopla that ensues when all 4 of my siblings show up with our 25 children between us:).
We have a family dinner planned with an egg hunt and scavenger hunt planned for the kiddos.
What great ideas!! And thanks for the reminder… I have to get my bootie in gear and get out to do the shopping. Now that my girls are older, I have to get out without them, which can be hard!
My 11 year old will be getting baptised and making first communion on Easter. We will start off our day with that and then come home and have a small party for her along with our family dinner that evening.
Saturday we are taking our granddaughter to the fair grounds for Easter egg hunt and on Sunday we are having everyone over for dinner and another Easter egg hunt!
We are having a family dinner and egg hunt for the littles.
