Easy Bundt Pan Bird Feeder Wreath
This is a simple and fun activity to create with your children. The birds love this feeder and your children will love watching the birds enjoy their creation.
Ingredients
- 4 cups bird seed
- 1 cup mix in's can use peanuts, almonds, pipits, cranberries, etc. (or substitute with 1 cup of bird seed)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 gelatin packets mixed with 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup flour
- ribbon
Instructions
- Spray bundt pan with nonstick spray and let dry.
- Mix together gelatin packets, warm water and flour well to form the "glue" for the wreath.
- Mix bird seed and mix in's into the glue mixture. Mix extremely well.
- Pour all ingredients into bundt pan and firmly press into the pan.
- Refrigerate 24-48 hours until completely dry and set.
- Gently remove from bundt pan, tie ribbon and hang. If you're worried about the stability of the wreath, it can also be set on a pan or plate out for the birds to enjoy.
