Frozen Yogurt Bark with Fruit

I’m loving this simple nutritious snack recipe that I’m sharing today. This recipe for frozen yogurt bark with fruit is perfect for everyone in the family and my kids can’t get enough of it!  It’s so simple that you can literally preparing it in less than 5 minutes and kids love getting involved in making it as well!

With all the recently birthdays we’ve had in our family, my kids have been on a major ice cream kick. While a little bit of the treat is okay now and then, it’s not something that we tend to have in the house often nor want the kids to eat every day. This recipe for frozen yogurt bark with Happy Family Tot Whole Milk Yogurt is such a great substitution. The best part is that the kids have no idea that it is healthy for them too!

Happy Family yogurt is now available at our local Target and I’m so happy about it! We picked up the Whole Milk Apple and Pear Yogurt for this recipe, but they have a bunch of other varieties too (some even have the addition of veggies, oats and chia for the ultimate sneaky way to add a little extra nutrients to our tots diets).

Find at your local Target in the dairy and egg aisle.

We love eating yogurt in our family because it is so great for gut health since they are loaded with lots of healthy probiotics. Happy Family Yogurt has probiotics that are great for adding additional healthy bacteria to help support our sweet babies bellies. In fact, yogurt was one of the first real foods that we gave our children when they were babies. It’s perfect for introducing new tastes and the texture is palatable for most babies as well. As my children have grown older (now 2 and 4 years old), yogurt continues to be a staple of their diet. Most evenings we use it as a pre-bedtime snack as it helps keep them full until morning since it is loaded with lots of protein.

When I’m searching for snack ideas for my kiddos, finding foods that are low in sugar is a must! Happy Tot Whole Milk Yogurt has no added sweeteners so a definite win in my book and it’s non-GMO as well. We love making this yogurt bark to switch it up and it’s so great when the warmer weather hits. We love to add lots of fresh fruit which my kids can’t get enough of and they love helping me “decorate” the yogurt (and stuff their mouths with lots of fruit in the process).

Made with whole milk, Happy Tot yogurt is loaded with calcium and Vitamin D to help with calcium absorption and bone growth for little ones.

Does it melt if kept at room temperature for five hours

Yes, it needs to be eaten relatively quickly once it is removed from the freezer as it will melt. 🙂
