There’s nothing that says summertime like iced tea. Whether it’s brewed in the sun or cold brewed (my personal favorite way to enjoy brewed tea), iced tea is just one of things that I always pair with summer. Today I’m excited to be sharing a delicious and refreshing lychee iced tea cocktail! This drink is so refreshing for springtime entertaining and I love pairing it with brunch! Delicious cold brew iced tea is combined with Torani Lychee Syrup, vodka and lime for a smooth drink that has a floral and citrus flavor that is perfect for springtime sips on the patio!

Lychee iced tea cocktail combines black tea (I love using black tea with fruit undertones like apricot or peach for this recipe), Torani Lychee Syrup, a twist of lime, cucumber and mint for the perfect spring or summer fun cocktail. Lychee is one of those flavors that can be overlooked and unknown to many, but is absolutely delicious. If you haven’t had it – you don’t know what you’re missing! Lychee fruit has a sweet and aromatic taste that has citrus undertones with a light rose or floral essence. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and tartness which makes it great for making cocktails or adding to iced tea. When I saw that Torani has a Lychee Syrup I couldn’t wait to try as it’s such a unique and delicious flavor that you don’t often find.

One of my secrets to making delicious drinks: Torani Original Syrups! Over the past year, I’ve started quite the collection of yummy syrups to make everything from decadent holiday drinks, s’more cold brew coffee, hot cocoas, cocktails and even to flavor ice cream! Torani syrups are made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar & natural flavors for the most pure and yummy drinks. I only want the best when making my drinks and the high quality ingredients used in their syrups, ensure that you can make the most tantalizing drinks!

Torani syrups are super versatile and mix so easily in drinks to let you play barista from the comfort at home to add a little extra deliciousness to your drinks! Since it’s not quite so easy or safe to stop in our local coffee shop during this time, having Torani syrups on hand has been the simplest way to give myself a little special treat while home or whip up something delish no matter the occasion or mood. I always check out the Torani Flavors of the Month to restock and grow my drink cart collection. With the Flavor of the Month, you can save 10% off each month so it’s a great way to try new flavors!

I love serving this lychee iced tea cocktail with a full brunch spread of french toast, fresh fruit and lots of extras to nibble on. It’s one of those drinks that is so versatile and would go with just about any meal or occasion. I envision lots of warm afternoons on the patio with a pitcher of iced cold brew lychee cocktails to enjoy. I made a batch omitting vodka and my kids loved it so much too!

For years, I made my iced tea in the sun, but recently had a chance to try the new Tupperware Cold Brew Carafe and there’s no going back! Using the cold brew carafe allows for slow and gentle steeping for the smoothest and richest tasting tea and coffee. Often sun brewed tea could result in a bitter aftertaste if brewed too long or too hot, but cold brewing eliminates any bitterness and makes the absolute best iced tea! To use, simply add your loose leaf tea of choice the mesh filter, fill with water and steep overnight. Remove mesh insert and enjoy the best cold brew tea ever! And for those looking for eco-conscious alternatives for straws, I’m really loving this eco straw set as it’s easy to clean and has a great carrying case for taking on the go!
