One-Pot Creamy Lemon Garlic & Ham Pasta
This one-pot creamy lemon garlic ham pasta is so easy to make, takes less than 30 minutes and is super family-friendly. It's the perfect quick weeknight meal when you want comfort food, but are short on time!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces rotini noodles dry
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 medium red pepper diced
- 2 cup broccoli
- 1 package (8 ounce) Smithfield Anytime Favorites Cubed Ham
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 3-4 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- grated parmesan
- parsley chopped, optional
Instructions
- Boil water and cook pasta according to directions on box.
- Add oil to large pan over medium heat. Sauté onion, red pepper, broccoli and ham until onions are translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from pan.
- Add minced garlic to pan and sauté until fragrant. Add cream, chicken broth, lemon juice and Italian seasoning. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until reduced & thickened.
- Add ham, veggies and pasta to pan and mix well. Sprinkle with parmesan and garnish with parsley.
