This pecan pumpkin pie smoothie has all the fall flavors and I’m here for it! Creamy, protein-packed and nutrient rich, this smoothie will be your favorite through fall, winter and beyond.

I sure hope that we’re all not sick of the pumpkin spice phase yet, because today I’m sharing one of my favorite fall inspired smoothies! This delectable smoothie combines pumpkin puree, NOW protein powder, frozen banana, maple syrup, pumpkin spice and cinnamon for an out-of-this world smoothie. Whether you’re looking for a more healthful sweet treat, taking it on the go, need a post-workout boost or my favorite, making a smoothie bowl for breakfast — you won’t be disappointed!

This pie inspired smoothie, has all the amazing taste of pecan pumpkin pie but without all the added sugar and fat. This recipe is absolutely perfect for using up leftover pumpkin puree! I always find that after making pumpkin inspired treats, that I have leftover puree so this is a perfect way to use up every last bit of that pumpkin goodness. I almost feel guilty having this all the time because it just tastes that good, but it’s actually quite healthy and packed with lots of delicious and nutrient packed ingredients. The frozen banana makes it ultra creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. I love adding a little maple syrup for a rich, deep maple syrup undertone and to sweeten this smoothie a bit more.

Smoothies are my favorite tool for eating healthy on-the-go and when short for time. You can easily prepare them with lots of healthy fats, protein, fruits and veggies for a quick liquid meal or addition to your diet.
