Vanilla Almond Protein Granola
Rolled oats, almond butter, protein powder and nuts combine for a decadent healthy treat! This crunchy protein packed granola is the perfect topping for yogurt parfaits and smoothie bowls!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup honey can substitute with maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup puffed rice cereal
- 1 cup almonds chopped or whole
- 1 1/2 scoop Biochem Vanilla Plant P+ Protein Powder
- 2 tbsp chia seeds optional
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325º. Lightly oil a large baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a small pan, heat almond butter and honey over medium heat until well mixed. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
- In a large bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. Pour honey/nut butter over the dry mix and mix well.
- Pour onto a baking pan. Spread across the pan. You can leave chunks together for larger granola clusters.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Flip and gently mix. Bake 10 more minutes until golden brown. Granola will be soft at first and become hard as it cools.
