Exercises to Do at a Fitness court

7

Fitness courts are a great option for exercising. Most are free to use, have so many options for all fitness levels and a great way to stay active and work on improving your health.

Many fitness courts have stations & equipment to focus on different areas/movements: - core - squat  - push - lunge - pull - agility - bend

The following fitness court exercises are suitable for all levels of fitness.  Do 3 rounds of each for a great all-body exercise routine.

1.

Leg Raises

A great way to build a strong core while targeting the abs and improve stability of  shoulders and back.

2.

Pull-Ups

One of the most effective exercises for strengthening the back, arm and shoulder muscles. Place feet along wall for assistance.

3.

Step-Ups

Step-ups work muscles in the legs and buttocks. Amp your workout by adding high knees for an additional burn.

4.

Ring Push-Ups

Ring push-ups work to strengthen the chest, shoulder and tricep muscles  & build core strength.

5.

Lunges

The muscles of the lower body, especially the quads, glutes, and hamstrings, work during lunges.  You can vary through the use of forward, side and back lunges.

6.

Burpee Box Jumps

Get your heart rate up with these!  A mix of traditional box jumps but with the addition of pushups! Great for upper and lower body strengthening.

7.

Back Extension

Strengthen the muscles of your lower back with this exercise (also work the muscles in your butt, hips, and shoulders). Keep head and neck neutral.
