How To Meditate With Mala Beads

Mala beads can be incredibly useful during meditation, especially when the  mind is prone to wandering, as using them with  meditation helps to keep you focused and grounded.

They serve as a physical reminder of intentions and prompts users to return to their breath and refocus when your mind wanders (which it will).

I'll be sharing  2 ways of using them: 🔹 mantra focus 🔹 breath awareness Both are great options for newbies and longtime meditation and mindfulness practitioners. ✨

Anatomy of a Mala

Place mala between your middle and index finger on your dominant hand.

Use your thumb to pull the beads toward you.

You can choose a mantra to repeat with each bead.

"I am.... safe, calm, strong, love."

Or focus on your breath - inhale and exhales - as you move each bead.

Mala beads have been used by spiritually for thousands of years in meditation. While mala beads have many modern uses, the history of mala beads is significant and date back to over 3000 years ago with roots in Hinduism, Buddhism and yoga.
