Spicy Jalapeno Hummus

This spicy jalapeno hummus is addictively good & made with simple ingredients! Made with chickpeas, fresh jalapenos & cilantro and plenty of spice for a great healthy snack! 

This spicy hummus is a twist on classic hummus! It's great served with tortilla chips and fresh veggies or even used as a sandwich spread.

- 1/4 cup tahini - 1 can garbanzo (chickpeas)   beans, drained - juice of 1 lime - 3 cloves garlic - 1 fresh jalapeno  - 1/4 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp cumin - 1/3 cup cilantro


Add drained chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, jalapeno and garlic to food processor.


Add spices and process until texture is smooth. If hummus is too thick, add 1 tablespoon cold water at a time until at desire consistency.  


After processing, taste and add salt & pepper, as needed. Add cilantro (stems included) to hummus.


Remove from processor and top with more paprika. Serve with tortilla chips and fresh vegetables.
