Pothos are great and nearly indestructible. They do best in indirect light and can be watered every 1-2 weeks.

Spider Plant

These are popular with beginners due to being tough, low maintenance and easy to grow.  Water weekly and keep in indirect sunlight.

Snake Plant

Snake plants are diehard houseplants. Water them on once every 2 weeks and they can tolerate both low and high light (prefer medium light).

Succulents

These are another plant that are best left alone most of the time. Water them once weekly (with minimal water) and they love direct sun.

These prefer medium to bright indirect light to thrive. Can be watered every 1-2 weeks. Easily can be propogated too.

Rubber plants come in a variety of colors and are gorgeous! Water every 1-2 weeks with well draining soil. Bright, in-direct light is ideal for these plants.

Dracaena 

Dracaenas have a tropical feel, but do not require a lot of water (every 1-2 weeks) and do best when their soil is kept slightly moist but never soggy. They prefer bright, filtered light.
