WOW Summit ’17: Calling All Mamas & Bloggers!

Disclaimer: I was provided with free tickets to Moms Meet Wow Summit in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

One of my favorite things about the blogosphere is the amazing network of women that I have met and connected with. Despite living hundreds to thousands of miles away, I have been able to connect with some absolutely amazing women through blogging. Reading about each others struggles, triumphs, and the trials of motherhood, has created such an amazing community and support system. The journey of motherhood can be lonely and tough at times. My little online community that I’ve formed through blogging networks and through sharing our journey on our blogs has been priceless for me when it comes to not feeling so alone in these struggles.

While I love connecting online, what I love even more is actually connecting face-to-face! Thankfully there are so many amazing blogging conferences available now and I’m excited to tell you guys about WOW Summit ’17 that is hosted by Moms Meet! The WOW Summit is a powerful and inspiring two day event for moms and bloggers. There will be a ton of educational sessions, amazing brands sponsoring the event and lots of fun networking and connecting with like-minded women.

Moms Meet is a a network for mothers and bloggers (you don’t have to be a blogger to join) to learn, share and chat about some of the newest health, beauty, organic and natural living products. You can be a community member, mom ambassador and they also have a blog ambassador program. Each membership has different perks that you can read more about here. I’ve been a blog ambassador for several years and have tried so many amazing products and worked with some great companies throughout my membership.

The WOW Summit is being held in the Chicago area on October 13-14 at Eaglewood Resort in Itasca, Illinois (which is beautiful and huge). The summit is broken up in to two days of events.

The first day is geared towards bloggers with:

  • Educational workshops led by influential bloggers
  • Blogger panel discussions
  • Blogger access-only Expo Hall
  • Blogger to Blogger networking
  • Speed dating with brands (by invite)
  • Cocktail party for brands and bloggers

Day two is for both moms and mom bloggers and loaded with lots of fun and educational events:

  • Mom to mom networking and connecting
  • Inspirational keynote speakers
  • Healthy living and parenting workshops led by experts
  • Expo hall (featuring better-for-you food, health & wellness and personal care brands
  • Allergy-free zone in Expo Hall
  • Mompreneur Expo showcasing local artisans and brand consultants.

Sounds pretty fun, right?! Plus, you get an awesome swag bag with lots of goodies from vendors and sponsors!

I haven’t been to a blogging convention, but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun and a great way to network and learn. Wish I could go! This would be an awesome opportunity.

I wish I lived a bit closer… This is a blogging event I would really love to attend, but the travel definitely complicates things. Maybe next year I’ll be able to plan ahead better and make it!
