Ham & Pineapple Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pound ham I prefer hickory smoked, but can use honey ham or deli ham too
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 can pineapples slices (in juice) drained
  • 8 ounce vermont cheddar cheese sliced
  • 4-6 Tbsp Miracle Whip or mayo
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 Tbsp dried minced onion

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Spray 9x13 dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Lay the bottom half of sliders into pan. Slather buns with mayo or Miracle Whip.
  3. Layer ham, pineapple slices and cheese on bun. Add the top of bun.
  4. In small bowl, melt butter. Add garlic powder, minced onion and poppy seeds. Brush tops of buns with butter mixture.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
