I have been admiring these gorgeous, unique watches from JORD for so long and I’m so excited that I finally have one of my own! I had been seeing them popping up on my Instagram feed often and just could not get them off my mind, so I knew that I had to get one for myself.

This watch gets noticed! I can’t tell you how many people notice it as it’s unique and so different than most watches that you see. They seem shocked that it’s made of wood and love the details. I absolutely love that no watch is the same as the different grains in the wood give each watch their own characteristics. They truly are one of a kind.

Whether you are dressing up or down, there is a watch that will fit your style and outfit. I love my Fieldcrest Maple because I tend to dress pretty casual most days so it goes well with my style and wear, while adding style and flair to my outfit. Despite being able to be worn with a casual outfit, it still is able to complement a dressier outfit with no issues. I feel like this watch is the perfect medium between casual and dressy and is able to work with pretty much whatever style you’re wearing that day.

Sustainable

These watches are made of sustainable materials. Sadly, this doesn’t happen too often and I take note when companies do so. You can see on the website where the wood is sourced and more info about it, which is pretty neat feature (for example, mine is sourced from NE North America). Another kudos point: U.S.A. made!

Lightweight

I have small wrists and hate heavy watches. I’ve had watches in the past that I really liked, but couldn’t stand the weight and bulkiness of them. This watch is so lightweight that I hardly notice that I’m wearing it. I’m already carrying around two kids most days, the last thing I need is more weight to lug around.

Durable

With so many different wood choices (maple, sandalwood, bamboo, ebony, koa, purpleheart, zebrawood, rosewood) there are many different levels of hardness and durability. This is something that is super important to me because I am ridiculous hard on my jewelry and watches. I can’t tell you how many watches (and other jewelry — my wedding ring is currently being fixed due to damage) I’ve destroyed due to scratching them up or breaking the glass. I need a watch that can stand up to my life. This watch does it and does it well! Many of the JORD premium wood watches also have sapphire glass, which is second only to diamond as the hardest and most scratch resistant materials on earth. Winner in my book!
