Lately I’ve really been digging oatmeal to get my day started. Oatmeal is a great breakfast option because of the all the great health benefits it offers and is loaded with lots of great nutrition to help fuel your morning. Over the years, I’ve tried different varieties and brands and found that there was a huge difference in quality and texture depending on the type of oat.
Slowly my dislike to oatmeal transformed into a new breakfast obsession once I found an oatmeal that had a consistency and taste that I enjoyed. Not only that, I became a bit of an oatmeal maven when it came to creating yummy, flavorful oatmeal breakfast ideas (overnight oats, mix-in’s, bakes, energy balls, etc.).
Lately, I’ve been loving Quaker® Oats newest hot cereal, Miller’s Batch! The taste of these oats is superb and I love the different flavorful varieties they have available (in Michigan and Colorado Kroger stores). Quaker has sourced the oats for the Miller’s Batch varieties from one Canadian farm. I just love that it’s full of so many great ingredients!
The addition of oatmeal to your morning is a great step to help ensure that you start your day on the right foot!
For an everyday easy breakfast choice, I count on Miller’s Batch California Valley. This organic medley (oats, quinoa and barley) includes a mix of raisins, almonds and pistachios for a super delicious oatmeal blend with a bit of crunch to satisfy. I love the ease of simply heating it up in the microwave.
The Canadian Prairie variety has a great consistency and hearty texture. I especially love using this variety for making overnight oats or my signature blueberry oatmeal bake (perfect for preparing ahead of time and feeding a crowd).
My favorite way to enjoy Miller’s Batch Canadian Prairie Oats is with pumpkin spice almond butter, some nuts and raisins on top! So good!
Be sure to keep an eye out for Miller’s Batch oatmeal at your local Kroger in Michigan and Colorado!
