Jalapeno Simple Syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1-2 jalapenos sliced
Instructions
Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita
- Spread tajin (or salt) on a small plate. Moisten the rim of margarita glass with lime wedge and dip glass into tajin to line the rim of the glass. Fill glasses with ice.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add pineapple juice, tequila, fresh lime juice and jalapeño simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain into prepared glass.
- Garnish with pineapple slices and jalapeño slices. Serve immediately.
Jalapeno Simple Syrup
- Add water and sugar into small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and add jalapeño slices. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Sieve jalapeño slices is preferred. The longer the jalapeños sit in the syrup, the more heat and spice it will have.
