Rustic Sausage, Kale and Potato Soup

- 1 pound Spicy Italian Sausage optional: can use regular Italian Sausage
- 1 onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 6 cups water
- 2 Tbsp Premium Chicken Better Than Bouillon
- 2 sweet potatoes halved and sliced 1/4" thick
- 1 russet potato sliced 1/4" thick
- 1 can northern beans rinsed and drained
- 4 cups kale raw, stalk removed and chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- nutmeg dash
- red pepper flakes to taste
Sauté sausage on medium heat in large pot until browned and cooked thoroughly. Add diced onion and garlic cloves and sauté until translucent.
Add 6 cups of water and Premium Chicken Better Than Bouillon paste and mix well. Add potatoes and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Add beans, kale, nutmeg and red pepper flakes and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream and mix well. Serve!
